BUILDING · Floor plan builder in progress

A trade show's floor plan is its inventory, and almost everywhere it is still drawn by hand. Boothline reads the venue's CAD file and works out the hard part: which of three hundred rectangles are sellable booths, what each one is numbered, and how many sides face an aisle — the frontage that sets the price. Where the drawing is genuinely ambiguous it says so and hands the decision to a person, rather than guessing. From there a show sells, moves and re-prices booths on a plan that stays true.
